Purebred Red Standard Poodle

DNA tested clear and PennHip Hip scored a wonderful 0.50 (central median for Standard Poodle breed 0.46) and Elbows clear.

DOB 22/06/2023. DNA tested purebred Standard Poodle with clear genetic results. Is very rare in colour for a Standard Poodle with “intense red” in his DNA test results. This is a non fade gene which enables us to breed toffee and caramel colour Goldendoodles in NZ. An exciting direction for Bellawai and definitely still no miniature poodle genes in our lines for the health and structure of your dog bred by us.

Rory is PennHip scored with wonderful results. Results overseen by Orthopedic Surgeon and approved partner to our Bellawai girls. Please note Rory’s puppies do not come with papers. Rory is not papered himself. Rory has been raised since a puppy with us at Bellawai.

Our red king (Rory) is one head turning beauty and I feel so lucky to have him. He is not only incredibly gorgeous he is so adorably affectionate and well behaved. Taking Rory for a walk makes me feel super proud of his majestic looks. He is neat of friends with all of my girls. Easily adapting to spending time with them and being actively involved with puppies here at Bellawai.

DNA tested clear and PennHip Hip scored an bang-on 0.48 (central median for Goldendoodle breed 0.48) and Elbows clear.

DOB 29/03/2022. Mother purebred white Standard Poodle DNA tests clear. Father purebred white Golden Retriever DNA tests clear. Flossy is PennHip Hip and Elbow scored with excellent results and clear elbows. Gentle and fun is the perfect way to describe our gorgeous fleece coat girl. She is tall for her Goldendoodle breed with the help of her beautiful white purebred Golden Retriever father (who is also the father to our purebred Golden Retriever girl Olive). Flossy is a cutie who often wears bows in her hair to keep her eyebrows out of her eyes and of course to look super cute.

Flossy’s mate is Rory and they produce gorgeous Jersey Caramel colour puppies. Every one of her babies are growing to be wonderful dogs with our happy clients. I am sure this is a testament to Flossy’s amazing nature. Flossy’s wait list for January 2026 conceived puppies with home dates in May 2027 has 1 available spaces on her reserve list to 6.

Posie – A 26kg beautiful lady.

Purebred Golden Retriever

Posie is the hugger and snuggler of our team. She hangs on to you with her front legs and stares into your soul lol. She is absolutely every doggos friend and is a peaceful girl to have in our team.

Posie came to us from a Golden Retriever breeder in August 2025 to settle into our team prior to her pregnancy we await in Jan 2026.

Posies mate is to be Rory, our Red Standard Poodle bred from Australian parents. Their puppies are going to be F1 Goldendoodles.

Posies wait list for January 2026 conceived puppies with home dates in May 2027 has just been opened in December 2025. We have 2 available spaces on her reserve list to 6 (as at 5/01/2026).

Rosa – A 25 kg rich golden girl.

Purebred Golden Retriever

Rosa is 100% Golden Retriever DOB 14/04/2024. DNA tested and PennHip score of DI 0.49. (below the global average of 0.52)

Rosa is a very sweet girl a popular friend of all of our dogs and also at her doggie day care she plays at with a variety of other dogs. Rosa is a finer framed girl and ideal match in size for our Standard Poodle Rory. Their puppies will be around 23kg-25kg at maturity. A medium sized Goldendoodle.

The puppies she will have with Rory will be a rich red and caramel colour as Rory carries the genes for intense red and without dilution. Rosas next litter of Goldendoodles is not until 2027. This wait list is not open at this stage.

Teddy – A 33 kg timeless

White Retrodoodle

Teddy – 33kg (adult weight at 2 years expectation). DOB 18/08/24. Cream Wool Coat Retrodoodle PennHIP score of DI 0.56.

Teddy is extremely special to us. We bred him and is the son of our majestic Arthur (Standard Poodle), born at Bellawai before Arthur left us for retirement. Arthur is now a desexed dog and a registered therapy dog at the highest level working ICU Wellington Hospital. Arthur is working with unconscious patients where Nurses place their hands on him and also with awake patients and their families.

Arthurs incredible personality has shone through in Teddy. He was our pick in the litter and we are not disappointed. Many of his siblings are also working dogs with psychologists and counsellors.

Whenever we go out Teddy always attracts attention with his happy smile and loving personality. We love to take him on trips to Auckland to visit our son and he loves the ‘big smoke’ outings I am sure! He also loves local visits to our beaches and cafes.

Freda – 30 kg darling heartmelt

Purebred Golden Retriever

Freda is 100% Golden Retriever DOB 03/09/2024. PennHip score of DI 0.56.

Freda has been bred by us here at Bellawai. Her Mum Joy and father Finnegan are our beautiful dogs and Freda is such an adorable combination of them both.

Freda loves teddy bears like Joy and has a wonderful soft personality with the puppies of our other Mums here with us. She is besties with Rosa and Aster.

Her first heat cycle was on 11/10/2025 at 13 months old (Dog NZ permits conceptions from 1 year old) however at Bellawai we wait until our girls are at least 18 months old in their next heat cycle as per recommendation of our Vet and Orthopedic Specialist Vet.

Freda will conceive Red Goldendoodles with Rory in June/July 2026 with babies ready in October/November. Her wait list has 3 spaces available on it to a litter reservation of 6.
